Mr. Chan Ching Yan Daniel, is a non-executive Director since June 2022. He is also a member of our nomination committee. He has been serving Po Leung Kuk since 2010 and becomes the Chairman of Po Leung Kuk 2022-2023 terms and is currently appointed as an advisor. Mr. Chan is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust, HKSAR, a member of the Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC), HKSAR, a member of the Advisory Committee of Admission of Quality Migrants and Professionals, Immigration Department of the HKSAR, a Governing Committee Member of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Foundation, an Honorary Director of The University of Hong Kong Foundation, a standing/executive director of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization and the founder and Managing Director of Paragon International Ltd.

 
In July 2019, Mr. Chan was awarded the Medal of Honour (MH) by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region in recognition of his dedicated public and community service, particularly his valuable contributions to charitable work and committees related to immigration matters. In 2015, Mr. Chan received the 14th World Outstanding Chinese Award granted by the World Chinese Business Investment Foundation. Mr. Chan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Western Ontario, Canada in June 1983 and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration conferred by Sabi University in September 2015.
